Whats life like at Mac? (1 Viewer)

Hey, I've put 2 Macquarie preferences on my UAC form -- B Ancient History and B Arts (Ancient History) as prefs 1 & 2 -- and wanted to fine out what life at Club Mac is generally like. Social side of things, the history faculty, the lecturers, the people etc.. Anyone help me out?

Students At Macquarie (SAM) is the student body, which organises social events at mq. If you check out their site, it basically summarises entertainment at mq.

Macquarie Westfields is across the street. You can entertain yourself there by ice skating, watching a movie, shopping, arcade games, food etc

I heard social life in Macquarie is very shit.

UTS is tops, if you can get in.

y would uts be good. i'd imagine u spend most of ur time in elevators in uts.

LOL! I heard social life at UTS was kinda dull... unless ya get into the accounting course thingie. LOL.

u cant breathe at uts, everythin is soo cramped

i luv lyin on mq uni's grass n the view of the lake is soo relaxin n peaceful

That is definitely something enjoyable.. I did that quite a bit, besides lectures and library.

what's the grass like?

i hate parks with really good looking green grass and then when you sit on it they have these pointy ends that pokes into my skin and gives me rashes

The grass is great, and there's heaps of it. The only not-so-great thing would be the buildings. Yuk!

a need grass, everything is so artifical and unwelcoming unless ya got some trees and grass.
