o shit, i still haven't begun the actual story. damn, i've been neglecting every subject cept maths. am i stoopid or what? :(

I've done character profiles, and have written down what will be in a few 'scenes' but I haven't actually started. I wrote one draft a while ago, it was so bad I got scared. Now i'm scared to start. :(

i've thought abt it for awhile and i really dont think i can handle the stress that comes with it (i know it sounds so pathetic but its true) so im going to just scrap it and make sure i get band 6's for the rest of my subjects. im really not dedicated to it and dont enjoy it that much and its waaaay to late for me to start afresh even if i could. i dont actually WANT to drop it but i have to coz i absolutely can't stand having it in the back of my mind whenevr i think about school. it will be a real weight off when i drop it.

Writing a first draft of a crit essay is a lot easier than writing the first draft of a story. With the crit essay, you just gather all your information, read what it says, and write an argument. But with a story, you've got themes, plots, and characters to think about. Ug...you poor, poor people.

That's not to say a crit essay is easy, coz it's not. There's big competition with crit essays!

Will_Sparky congrats!

I completely understand. EE2 is so incredibly stressful, and if it's going to make your other marks suffer, than scrap it. That's the reason why I dropped IPT. It's best to focus on the subjects you enjoy and get good marks in, rather than stress all year.

Arrrghhhh haven't written a draft, only got an idea for my story (one which wasn't made up by the teacher) a few days ago and I've been too lazy. I'm writing a play, and if anyone can help me out with writing Satire, please do!!!!!

I've pretty much completed research - I've written around 2000 words and my story has direction - I know exactly where it's headed and what to do next. EE2 is the only subject I feel completely confident with where I'm up to :)
