Labor doesn't just provide for people earning under 52 000. Looking at Labor's Tax and Better Family Payment Plan, a single worker with no children, on $10 000
a year wil gain $181 annually, a single worker on 40 000 a year will gain $416 annually while a single worker on 55 000 will gain $476, compared to the Coalitions $360 for this worker.

Currently under the Coalition, anybody who earns less than 50 000 do not get ANYTHING. Its here if anybody wants to look at it, the very last page.

Labor is effectively rewarding the majority of Australian workers, as Asquithian said the median wage is 43 000, while at the same time not even stripping the wealthier incomes of their gains.

I used the single worker, no dependant children as an example because that would most likely be US for the next 15-20 years. So have a look at it and see how Labor's Plan benefits people like US.

On that note, mum voted Labor second preference Greens.

Yeah, great criminal, oh, sorry, I mean great man.
if introducing HECS and medicare, changing our anthem to something more suited to the times, establishing ties with China again, actually doing something for the ATSI counts as criminal, than yes.

It's sad to see that Howard might sneek in again....i think Insiders were saying that we've only had a government change about 4 times in this country, and everytime it's been a huge swing one way or the other...not 50-50
Having said that, I think the Herald polled 70% of people thinking the coalition will be returned, but that doesn't reflect where their vote will go.

Lower House
1. Labor
2. Democrats
3. Greens
...

Upper House
1. Democrats

I don't know for who my mum and dad voted. They both cannot stand the local (Liberal) member, though.
Edit: I voted in the seat of Lindsay... One of Latham's aspirational electorates that Howard has made his own since 1996.

I voted for the greens, in both the lower and upper houses, I hate the money grabbing schemes of the major parties, I'm voting on the basis of values, like peace and equality. Also the right for everyone to go to uni is a major concern for myself
