It was much easier than trials. Only thing with the SC, is that I found the bushranger story frickin' weird.

I think the question should be "who found it hard?" because it's been well established that the SC is probably the easiest test one can sit in his or her educational life.

10 marker - letter
20 marker - short story

EXACTLY what I was hoping for. I mentioned that on this forum yesterday...
When I saw that during reading time I almost yelled 'YES!'

Loved english.
Meh *shrug* for science.

Overall pretty easy, but hopefully I won't be eating my words/looking like a fool when I get my results back.

Theres a science thread here for it :p
But to answer your question, I put DNA, but a few people put chromosome, the box was so big and tempting...

Haha, no need to get all proud, dude - Eng was in teh exact format as the trials that my school, along with other school (because it was a purchased exam) did. Exactly, and I mean 10 marks letter & 20 marks ss. :DDD

I was undecided between DNA and chromosome... Ended up saying chromosome cos the diagram showed a double helix figure. I regret it now :(
Yeah I really don't know. I was about to put nucleotide, like a nucleotide base with sugar, phosphate and base, but I thought that was probably way too technical :/

""The main role of DNA molecules is the long-term storage of information. " -wikipedia.. :p

I'm pretty sure DNA is correct, but for me it was just a lucky guess, I found it so hard to decide.

For the english contrast question, I discussed the contrast between the setting (lovely country atmosphere, onomatopeia 'swish' implies freedom (lol wtf), use of tactile imagery, colours and textures etc), juxtaposed with the bushranger (portrayed as dark and mysterious, looming, etc), and reinforced with the quote 'he looked out of place' or something.
:/

the answer is DNA, chromosomes are structures not molecules.

and yeah that bushranger shit was hard, but everything else was relatively easy.
