high waisted skirts, belts, etc only work if you HAVE a waist. you can't create the illusion of having a waist with a skirt or a belt, you will look ridiculous. and if you don't have a waist and wish to get one, you usually have to lose weight, that's how it works.

and just to add to your beautiful rant

YOUR WAIST IS NOT IMMEDIATELY BELOW YOUR BREASTS.

ohh man im loving this winter fashion

the whole electro/fluro/oversized look does it for me!

vintage leotards with black skinny leg jeans, a small belt, boots and heyyy presto!

also, massive oversized shirts with the sleeves rolled up, sunnies, headbands that cover your forehard, massive fluro handbagsss

ahhhh soooo gooooooood!

legwarmers... tights.... :D

also cut-off skinny leg jeans so you have that fray thing going.

ohh and massive big cardis.. cant forget them! :D

hasn't the empire line been ditched this season?
It has to some extent, but I'm talking about the girls who go OTT with the High-Waisted Skirt thing, and wear a perfectly lovely skirt hitched up to their breasts.

There is muchos confusion between the empire and waist belts in the ghetto.
*sigh*

Yeah... the fluro shit will have the blood from the bogans who wear it splatted on it soon.... I think I would rather pull my own eyes out than look at fluro again.

2007 DOES NOT = 1980s

i wish the whole of the 1980s would just fade away.

along with the hair of the early 1990s.
yes, but that would mean getting rid of such things as leggings, skinny leg jeans, sweater dresses.

I like those things about winter fashion!

Seriously, my auntie was like full hip in the 80s. She was just a late teen, early adult, and I remember watching her get all dressed up to go "night clubbing" in skinny jeans, or leggings and sweater dresses, and boots and pumps. Man she was so cool!
