Best: Year 11 - 1984 Year 10 - To Kill a Mocking Bird, Year 9 - Lord of the Flies the rest were pretty awful. Except in year 3 when I read Hatchet. I loved that book so much that in year five, after re-reading and re-reading it I stole it form the class book box (shhhh...don't tell anyone..)

Worst: Too many...actually, I remember especially hating Artemis Fowl. I think I would have loved it if I were even one year younger, but as a year 9 text it almost killed me!

Best: Chinese Cinderella in year 8, I think one of the few books I actually didn't mind reading. Also I think Frankenstein next year will be interesting
Worst: I've disliked many, and right now I can't bring myself to continue reading Wild Swans. It's so long and sometimes it's just overload

best: animal farm. Was so good that I had to read it again
worst: exposure. you people probably don't know what it is but it is an appropriation of Othello in which the author doesn't even know what tense is.

Worst: wow so many! My least favourite two though would probably be Mouldy's Orphan and Tess D'Urbeivilles.
Best:probably Dragonkeeper

Many books other people have read through HS I think are really good books, like Animal Farm.

Worst: Educating Rita - Willy Russell (blurgh..... the whole play literally takes place in a room......... I wanna vomit when I see/hear no GREEN scenery).

Best: The Curious Incident of the Dog In the Night-Time - Mark Haddon (best combination of drama + humour)
Educating Rita can get boring at times, but its not because the action only takes place in one room. Some of the best plays of read never change their setting.
