Problem with eBooks is that a lot of publishers use that stupid software called VitalSource, for better security. It is slow, crashes a lot, doesn't let you print more than 5 pages and doesn't let you convert to PDF.
I personally prefer eBooks but strictly in PDF format because I don't use textbooks much, I mostly use notes, past papers, exercise booklets, etc. to study so I try not to waste money on hard copies of books if I am not going to use them much.
