definately staying with real books

-ebooks hurt your eyes after like 10 minutes
-printing them out is a bich
-cant make notes on it, if your studying it
You've obviously never used a proper e-ink reader. They hurt your eyes no more than real text. Making notes is better on an e-reader too. You can write them in, and highlight, then turn them off if they're in your way. I'm not sure why you'd want to print an entire book though, so I think that's a moot point.

I don't classify internet or irl friends, these terms annoy me.
My irl friends are my internet friends, however my internet friends are not irl friends, they are friends nonetheless and the way I see it, it makes no difference.
I'm not one to often socialise irl, so it's only natural I see it this way, lol.

But yeh my "irl-internet friends" get real life eye hurt, dunno about pure 'internet friends'.

I'm really starting to grow on the whole ebook thing and having my Kindle app sync my books across devices.

I would still continue to read from hard copies mainly because I'm too new to the whole e-book idea.

Just so you know, when you buy from these things, your not buying them , your getting a licence to it. There is a story...

In one recent case, a man had his entire Amazon Kindle library deleted. And for what crime, you ask? Simply because Amazon suspected that a third party may have unlawfully accessed his account. Unfortunately, that man had been a customer for eight years and had spent hundreds of dollars on Kindle books (that he also took the time to highlight and add notes to) that were now gone. Oh, and for good measure, they deleted his entire Amazon account as well, which in turn deleted his purchase history, wish list and shipping addresses. Not to mention any sassy reviews he might have posted for products he didn't like.

In my honesty, I would only buy hard or physical copies of the novels off the bookshop if they look good on my book shelf. If it can't show off how amazingly literate I am or if it's something I'm ashamed of or is a guilty pleasure, I would get it off the web.

Bless my ego. :)

I lean more towards buying the real copies..Personally, the feeling of actually holding the book in my hand reinforces that love for an already well-loved story. :3

Real books definitely. I've read a couple of books on a computer - The Picture of Dorian Grey and some other one - and I hated it. I need to have the physical book.

Well a Kindle would seriously solve all these "not a physical copy" problems. Well it did for me anyway. Turns out I read a lot more books than before because I don't have to go to the library/bookstore whenever I want to read a book I find interesting.
I hate reading off computer screens as well, it's so un booky.

Real books all the way, you can't get that old crinkly soft feel of a book from a tablet or whatnot.
