Very true. Used to hate Maths and Geo but they are now my favourite subjectsAs you get exposed to senior content you'll definitely change your perspectives on a LOT of subjects, haha

Well for tutoring I stay at least a chapter or two ahead for 2 unit and she's also beginning to explain some 3 unit concepts. It's actually pretty good since by the time we do it in class, I've already done it and understood the conceptsyo justem, what r u currently learning at ur maths tutor?
I know man I feel your pain, I'm absolutely exhausted. It didn't help that it was like a billion degrees todayI wouldn't survive 3 hours of tutoring 2 max for me...

I study ALOT and I try to feel prepared prior to the exam. As soon as I sit down I'm immediately overwhelmed and lose it. I think it might have to do with confidence, would you agree?Do you feel prepared for the exams though?
Don't =(
I know in Spanish cuisine there's this one dish which is like a giant giant omelette the size of a frying pan and 5cm deep.
Or you could just make some egg nog lol.
Thanks... I'm going to need it.Delta yeah? Have fun
Exact same thing happens to me and I make the STUPIDEST mistakes, once I did 2 times 3 equals 5, like whatI study ALOT and I try to feel prepared prior to the exam. As soon as I sit down I'm immediately overwhelmed and lose it. I think it might have to do with confidence, would you agree?

I had this and ended up with an 83 instead of a 93. FMLI had this last year for a yearly exam for maths. Thought I did badly, come to the results, I somehow do extremely well which made me laugh so much at how I manage to even pass.
I know... FMLExact same thing happens to me and I make the STUPIDEST mistakes, once I did 2 times 3 equals 5, like what
I have made this exact mistake on not one but two separate year 11 exams.Exact same thing happens to me and I make the STUPIDEST mistakes, once I did 2 times 3 equals 5, like what
I think the best advice is to practice under exam conditions before the actual exam, so that you run through all these anxieties, and when you are doing your school exam, it will be easier to deal with these anxieties and have less since you are prepared for them. Furthermore, it is important to visualise before you sit an exam, visualise the exam room, the paper itself, the atmosphere, the timer, visualise yourself being calm, knowing how to do the questions, and writing down the right solutions, and acing the exam paper. I think practising and visualising may be two very beneficial techniques in helping you to alleviate your anxiety over maths exams. Don't be excessively anxious-use those butterflies to your advantageI'm always super anxious during math exams: I have no idea why... My hands shake as I read through the paper, I feel the need to drink water every 5 minutes and I get the occasional butterflies in my stomach. It's so bad, I cannot deal. Someone help me get over this omg.

I do practice and I'm fairly competent with everything but my emotions omg, I cannot deal...@dangerouss and justem you just gotta do more practice. Maths is a doing subject - one where you have to keep on doing questions and past papers to improve exam technique. It's not like English where you can just cram on the weekend and bullshit on the day.
