hm, we're doing the Human Condition for our AoS, which basically means all the qualities which distinguish humans from other animals. Trust my school to do this..

At my school we're doing change.
teachers decide on the texts tho.
my class is doing catch a fire for the film and we get to pick a song from a list we've been given.
other classes are doing pleasantville though.

if it was to add credibility, it was unnecesary - because most of us not under rocks knows that sbhs is kinda hot up there.


Year 11 marks counts towards HSC?? I didn't know that?? Can someone clarify?

it doesnt..only for maths and even then..marks arent counted..just some of the content is tested for hsc..

My school is doing Inner Journey for the AOS (I also didn't know preliminary had different choices of AOS). My teacher explained that schools would choose between Physics, Imaginitive and Inner journey. Obviously they just told us this so we would not argue and that inner is clearly one of the longest things to write about (also can be difficult to explore though: as I've found).

I'm doing Journey's too, and it's all gud. We can do the AOS "skinny dipping" for all the BOS cares.

we're using pleasantville for ext1 english with utopia...except we're doing change for advanced at the same time
and we end up relating pleasantville back to change

yeah we're doing change as our aos which is good cause pretty much everythin changes at one point or another....

there isnt a set aos for yr 11 only for yr 12. generally the teachers pick the aos for yr11 and they tend to use old yr 12 areas ie journeys and change etc
