Thats the only thing keeping me alive xD

Honestly, i've bludged thru year 11 :blah:
Same. Wish I studied more.

First time I studied for a test was my half yearly Chem exam. Jumped from 8th to 3rd.

Only consolation is that marks don't carry over to yr 12, so I still have a chance at winning :)

I think most people have, but on the weekend everyone was emailing each other asking for notes, and no one had anything.
The exams aren't as intimidating as I initially thought, just the situation. I've been at the same school since kindergarten and these are really the first big exams we've had, apart from the School Certificate which didn't really count.
Really intimidating when your n a big hall with two supervisers and four other people.
Three down, four to go.

I'm not too worried about exams, but I am really worried about subject selections.

I have 1 assignment due for VAT but I do that in class
1 assignment for SOR1 thats next week but that pretty easy
Then I have 2 exam in week 7 for Adv.Eng and Modern History

Then straight after that my yearlies start at the week after but I also have the National Titration comp on the same week

So it looks like no time for cramming/procrastination
And I pretty much have to start studying now :/
Which I loathe

Economics notes: to be done by Sunday
English notes: to be done by Sunday
Ancient history: to be done by Wednesday.

I'm gonna study English, Ancient History and Religion on one day...
and Maths and Economics on another day.

I have 14 days left to study.

meaning that I will be able to study for all my subjects at least 7 times. (the average human brain has to have information repeated 7 times in order to memorise it)

Obviously, some of my subjects will have more priority over others.

Maths > Economics > English > ancient History > religion > Chemistry.

Yeh, but we got Geo right after English paper 2 D:

And 4 hours of my life will be taken away from me by chemistry. Epic sadface.

week two of my exams is pretty hectic. 4 exams in a row, but I have the weekend to study for Maths. I have gaps in Week One. How annoying.... My best subjects are in Week Two and I have less time to study for them :( which also means that other people have less time to study for them too :p

What are you guys aiming to get in the yearlies?

I'm aiming for:

English Standard: above 70% - 1st place
Maths Extension 1: 100% - 1st place
Economics: 95% - 1st place
Ancient History: 95% - top 5
Studies of Religion: 95% - top 5
chemistry: 60% - don't care

this would be a pretty big jump from my Half yearly marks:

English Standard: 67%- 2nd place
Maths Extension 1: 93% - 3rd place
Economics: 86% - 5th place
Ancient History: 92% - 5th place
Studies of Religion: 97% - 1st place
chemistry: 64% - 40th place

Our exams are Weeks 8 and 9. Starting to study right now, but just taking it easy at the moment.
