best director should go to C. nolan while best actor should go to L. Dicaprio but i know they aren't going to get it. Social network is great but why it get best directing and best actor when it's based on a true story, their role is too simple if you ask me. Inception, now that's a masterpiece and would of taken a lot more talent to direct and act on such a difficult piece.

But obviously you little clueless kids wouldn't agree with me.

I gave some awards for Inception, did I not??? It was SPECTACULAR because it was the most technical film of the year, like Avatar last year.

Besides, have you been keeping up with all the film awards lately? Chris Nolan keeps losing.......

I still cannot believe the Academy snubbed Christopher Nolan for Best Director, Andrew Garfield for Supporting (TSN) Actor and Tron:Legacy for Visual FX.
btw you better not be a Nolan Fanboy.

Just saw Black Swan. I had high expectations and they were met and surpassed.

I thought Inception, Toy Story 3 and Black Swan were all better than The Social Network. Haven't seen Kings Speech yet.

Natalie Portman's acting + Darren Aronofsky's directing (brilliant, as usual) = instant masterpiece.

-------

I wanted James Franco to win an academy award for his role in 127 Hours. I was a little too hopeful.

Anyways, I agree with *most* of the OP's list.

I liked Inception, but i think it eventually got quite overrated
