Need over 95 for first choice. Not going to happen, but my second choice needs over 80, and thats much more likely. I want over 90 for bragging rights...

I think mid-to high nineties is most likely, but who knows what fate will throw at me (can't get too cocky... just have to wait for the results.) I need 92 for my first preference (Architecture at UQ,) I like all my preferences which is good (lowest needs 62 and I even like that one) although I do have my heart set on architecture (88 for QUT, and I can't really imagine getting less than that.) I'd really love to get the highest UAI in the school for well... bragging rights to be honest... last years was 98 something, and I missed out on dux of the college (in-school) but dux of the HSC would be pretty sweet.

I agree Gotterfunken. Some people ARE going to be disappointed. Some expect so much of themselves. I just hope that if someone who was aiming for 98 ends up with 90 they don't get depressed and whine, because there's another 90% of students who they beat (and that's just the students who receive a UAI).

Was just talking about this with some friends... what UAI do you personally, for yourself, feel is acceptable? (Not what you think you'll get or want). You can even split it into these categories:

I'd be statisfied with like over 70. Not the best but not shame-worthy.

I expect about 80 *fingers crossed*

I could deal with getting like 91.

I'd know they mixed up candidates if I got over 92.
