Thanks mate :)

You just need to get your hands on past papers tbh, plenty of practice questions in them :)

3 places confirmed taken in the last 3 days.

Classes filling pretty quickly.

Only 10-15 spaces available (split over 5 classes). 27 spots confirmed taken. 5 or 6 pending confirmation.

Hey Fizzy

Here you said "If you do order it by single dot point, it is important that you show how this dot point links to other dot points (which may even be in different topics!) Often in HSC / trials now the bigger mark questions encompass more than one dot point, so you must show how things link." :http://community.boredofstudies.org/17/chemistry/351972/how-write-notes-chemistry.html#post7178047

Could you please be more specific on this (and give me an example)

Also what would your tips be if you didn't write it in dot point form?

Thanks :D

Sure. HSC Chemistry 2013 Q23(a) assessed outcomes from 2 x Year 12 topics alongside 2 x Year 11 topics.

Tbh, I think that learning by dot point works fine for most students. It helps the lesser-able students structure their ideas and the higher achieving students can usually link dot point together.

I actually would recommend learning by dot point, students like that structure. For some others though, using concept mapping is more appropriate as students are able to draw conceptual links. One of my previous state rankers loved concept maps. They were basically her study notes.
