re: The Official Cricket Thread

Saffas still have a lead of 350+ with 2 days remaining. I don't know where to from here.

We get skittled cheaply and they win or we bat long enough to scrape a couple of hundred runs lead, then send them for half a day.

I really don't know. Luckily the series is already wrapped up.

I've modified my team for the ashes:

P. Hughes
S. Katich
M. Johnson
M. Johnson
M. Johnson

M. Johnson
M. Johnson

12th man: M. Johnson

Forget the spinner experiment, we'll just teach mitch how to bowl some leg spin.

I have no idea why Krezja was dropped to start with.. He is certainly better then Hauritz...and also can bat much better then mcgain could

And with the pace bowlers looking quite economical and restricting at the moment (i think siddle and hilfenhaus can really tie down an end on a good day), i think an attacking spin bowler like Krezja would do well. Batsmen would try to go after him after being tied down at the other end which could work for him (or...it could fail spectacularly).

The Nine telecast is just an epic ad for Gatorade and Betfair.

Rauf is possibly the worst fielder we have ever seen. He hardly fielded a single ball cleanly.

But good for Watson, he deserved it. Hughes might have to wait a bit longer now.

when does the ODI series start?
January 22nd.
I'm going to miss the tri-series. 5 one-dayers against one team.....can suck :S.

I second that. The whole team is rather average really. The amount of dropped catches and misfields is already beyond belief for an international cricket side..

Ffs they'd already made a highlights package on their terrible fielding by day 3.
