Except that the Ferrarri's were so much quicker in q2 than button making me wonder how long he is fueled for, he never got above 6th in q2
Raikkonen has 3.5 kilos less fuel than Button

not the biggest Ferrari fan, but knowing how the KERS cars start, and how bad the Brawn's can be in the beginning, Kimi's best chance of winning this year is one Ste. Devote away.

Although I'm gonna prophesize due to the lack of TC, cars eager to outbrake each other and a lightweight Vettel something's gonna happen.

I think red bull just has terrible strategy sometimes (e.g. webbers 3rd quali in monaco) But in reality that brawn car is just plain fucking quick in races. Im just happy webber is going well this year 2nd last night was a good effort. Vettel seems to be very inconsistant in races as the times last night showed.

I think the cars look good this year. Sure the front wing is a bit oversized but the rest of the body is clean and not full of the aero shit. There isnt heaps of passing but that is the nature of F1.

F1 teams to set up rival series

Formula One has been thrown into chaos with the news that the Formula One Teams Association (Fota) plan to set up a rival championship in 2010.

World motorsport boss Max Mosley had written to five of the potential breakaway teams in a bid to end the bitter row over budget cap proposals.

But the appeal of the FIA chief does not appear to have had any impact.

Following a four-hour meeting, Fota announced that it had grown frustrated with the stance of Mosley and the FIA.

"The teams cannot continue to compromise on the fundamental values of the sport and have declined to alter their original conditional entries to the 2010 World Championship," said a Fota statement.

"These teams therefore have no alternative other than to commence the preparation for a new championship which reflects the values of its participants and partners.

"This series will have transparent governance, one set of regulations, encourage more entrants and listen to the wishes of the fans, including offering lower prices for spectators worldwide, partners and other important stakeholders.

"The major drivers, stars, brands, sponsors, promoters and companies historically associated with the highest level of motorsport will all feature in this new series."

who reckons that max and bernie will concede defeat? max will resign, bernie will allow the teams to sign a new agreement with what they want, and all will be rosy within F1 again.
