Have you seen the M5/M5 East/Southern Cross Drive in morning peak? The threat of being killed on a bike is high enough in normal traffic, but I dare not tempt being hit by a car who has decided to change lanes without looking so they can sneak into a gap which is me on a bike.

Riding in would be way quick since you can weave and ride in the breakdown lane if you're game. I'm not up to it yet.

yeah it does half the time the othe car is close to the lane edge too and thus successfully stops the bike from sneaking past.
