If you press go back, then log in you should only need to do it onceHas anyone noticed that you need to log in twice to cancel a bagging error?
welcome to "rostering to task", it's the new big thing, be thankfull your not a new store, there they take it VERY seriously.Absolutely ridiculous
Today my store manager was measuring exactly how far the produce area in the shop was from the produce cool room, and how far it was from the back yard, how many tables we have, how many crates so that head office can cut our hours down to EXACTLY the amount of time we need. It's bloody ridiculous.
RIDICULOUS!!
I was in such a foul mood today after I heard that. Did I mention it is ridiculous?!?!?
On Self-serve:If you press go back, then log in you should only need to do it once
yeah i only noticed that this week. 'accept' what!?! that there's an error?? such a random button... it just needs to go straight to the bagging error screen, like NCR - so we can clear it by going store login, or manually fixing it by taking the item out etc.On Self-serve:
I'm sick of customers pressing "Accept"
eg. on the
- Unexpected Item screen
- Place Item in the bagging area screen
if you work on self-serve enough you'll realise that pressing Accept makes the SCO say assistance required and they can't do anything else until we clear it!
So basically in the next upgrade they need to remove the "Accept" button!!!
We're doing this at our store. I mean, whoever is in charge is sometimes serving, but very rarely. There is only ONE supervisor at all times, whose only job it is to supervise, isnt allowed to jump onto registers.
same hereBah, just finished exams, so that means three months at Woolies. Fun fun.
You'll be fine, I promise. They factor these changes in, and if they don't have enough people for a particular shift, they will hire new people. For instance, my store did not have enough people on Tuesdays, so we hired new people who HAD to be available tuesday afternoons.i dont know whether my hours will be changed or ill be fired when i get accepted into Uni for next year cos i dont know the class times or the days ill be attending uni.
not mesame here
We had two, over the last two weekends. Rivercruise for the over 18s and paintballing for anyone who wanted to go.Anyone had there woolies christmas party yet?
ours is on saturday on a harbour cruise...was gonna go but i'm broke and i'll just go out with the better work people and get drunk on land instead
Nah they don't care about experience. Have good availability and the job is yours. lolhey guys,
Did my second interview yesterday and I've been told that basically if you get to the 2nd interview you got the job but i got told today i didn't get it i did noticed during the group interview there were about 12 people apply for the same job.
When i was doing the interview at the end the manager said she really liked me so i'm rather confused should i apply again if another job comes up?
Cause to me it seems they will take experienced people over someone who doesn't have experience in retail as i know there were a few people that had previously worked there.
Like they've cut a lot of hours or there's soo many people on. Last year we had so many people on that I didn't have a register after 1pm.Back from work. Did 6-3 smoke shop. I want to go back to Bali!!! Not looking forward to supervision this week, apparently hours are being cut. My CSM goes have fun tomorrow and I was like why? He just said Cutting hours.
And lol, I was upstairs when they where talking about the christmas front end roster and the SSM was looking at the grand total number of hours for xmas eve and she goes "omg, I'm scared" lol and I was like so am I. She looked and almost had a heart attack. Appaz..its alot.
No it's not, mainly speaking for the younger workers. And I am speaking for our region, you might be different interstate, i dont know.^^ I don't know what store you work at, but that statement is incorrect in too many ways to describe.
