Is anyone joining ARC at unsw?

$69 I think... is this for one year membership?

how do we join clubs and societies?

Good question...can we join societies without being a member? I know it gives you a discount on some, but a lot of them don't have a membership fee


And I'd like to volunteer in some of their programs. But I'm not paying $69 to volunteer >_>

Half the 'clubs' are free. The other half mostly charge $5 for ARC members and $10 for non ARC members. Some clubs won't let you join if you are not an ARC member due to Insurance issues (adventure club etc, some sporting clubs).

The 'free' stuff is not worth $69. A couple o0f years ago membership cost $130 or so.
