Got myself a bench and barbell, 2 days ago, I can bench 48kg, never knew I could do this much :/

I can bench a bit more than my bw. That's my only decent lift =/

How is that even possible? :/
You get stronger as you keep lifting, What I'm lifting now is double where I started a month ago, even though it may be less for people, it's still double, so I've made progress.

those standards work for people involved in power0lifting but not the general public, thats all

90kg squat last week,, gonna attempt 100kg today.
i was really only gonna try to do 1 rep and be like "yay i can squat 100kg for 1rep woo triple figures", but i ended up doing 2 sets of 5 reps of 100kg, then i dropped it to 60 and did 15 reps which is apparently good for tearing my muscles (in a good way) and promoting this or that, idk, i'd rather have dropped it to 90 or 85kg and done like another 5 or 8.

WAS dropping it from 100 to 60 and pumping out another 15reps the right thing to do? or should i have only reduced it by like 10 or 15 and gonen for 5-8 reps in my last set?
keeping in mind i was buggered after second set of 100, maybe thats why my mate told me to do this dropset.

also... i can squat 100kg now :)
unigymelectricscales say i now weigh 66.3kg, normally it says 65.something, looks like i've possibly gained a kilo lol.

did you start off with the 100s? or did you pyramid up to it??
i think im just gonna do some box squats on leg day, upper quads are lacking, dont really need to squat 100kgs right now
but will do deadlifts cos i realised im pretty lacking in that area
