Yes?

It's not unicellular organisms replicate! :) so, asexual

Question:
What are the products formed when magnesium is dissolved in Hydrochloric acid
metal + acid --> hydrogen + salt

so..im guessing hydrogen and magnesium chloride

Longitudinal waves the particles move in the same direction as the wave.
Transverse the particles move at right angles to the direction of the wave.
Probably an incomplete answer given the 4 marks.

What is the name given to a substance which, when dissolved in water, has a pH of 13?

Compare transverse and longitudinal waves (4 marks)
Transverse waves: the movement of the particles is perpendicular to the direction of the wave i.e. they vibrate up and down
Longitudinal waves: the movement of the particles is parallel to the direction of the wave, basically vibrating back and forth
Both carry energy from A to B

Compare means similarities and differences!

Similarities are they both are carriers of energy and can undergo reflection/refraction/diffraction and interference

Differences: What you guys said about oscillation, plus only transverse waves can be polarised

That's 4 marks. Please remember young grasshoppers :)

Question
Contrast electromagnetic and mechanical waves and give an example of each (3 marks)

Electromagnetic waves do not require a medium through which to travel whereas mechanical waves do. An example of an electromagnetic wave is light. An example of a mechanical wave is sound.

Q) What is something common between all types of electromagnetic radiation?
Speed = 3 x 10^8 m/s
Do not need a medium to travel
propagation is due to electrical and magnetic field
