I would really like to but I don't think it's a good idea traveling alone when I'm 17. My friends are all staying with their families so even if I tag along, I'll have to spend a large portion of my journey alone. Besides, I think it would be much better if I save some money now and go overseas when I graduate from university.

I can understand that. Still, your mates can't be away all the time and there's still plenty of stuff to do in Australia

I was planning to go to America. It won't be fun if I'm not 21 over there. I still won't be legal for much .

America is so much better, it kicks the crap out of Australia. Their roads are like 2 times wider and cleaner than ours + so MANY SHOPSSSSS. :3

Not in America because I was with family most of the time, but when I went to Vanuatu I met like a few people when I went off to like a tropical village. Surprisingly, there were a few french people since they were colonised and yeah I just talked and etc.

Iono, I prefer to travel myself because with family, if I meet someone it'll be really awkward and it has happened haha

That's true. My brother met a girl in China and my mother went spastic . I'm still too much of a wimp to travel alone.

When I came back from America and saw Australia, it was absolute crap compared to US.
