I do not know why so many people are worrying so much about 'deadweight'.

Instead of worrying about it, just study harder and beast through your exams and the HSC. No 'deadweight' will slow you down as a result.

Think of it as a challenge.

According to one of my tutor students, 2012 HAHS is pretty beast.

They are expecting some pretty awesome results.

HAHS cohort stronger now since a handful of them actually lift
john98 will lead us back into the top 20 - too much power

I wish they published more than the top 150 schools last year, my school's normally around 200 so consequently I don't know what rank the cohort last year was. (Maths/ENglish not a good indicator at my school where we got most band 6s in bio, humanities and arts subjects)

my schools '12 are very competitive and will do well (top 200) hopefully. the '10's were really good got in top 200 but last year was quite horrible were ranked almost 400.

Just my 2 cents:
From what I know/have heard:
- Ruse 2012 is pretty strong (at least better than last year)
- NSBHS and SBHS are quite strong, AND with the added momentum of last year(2011 cohort's results) they could be up there again...
- Baulko - alright, but supposedly not that flash - correct me if I'm wrong
- Hurlstone - possibly back in early 20's or late teens this year (not too sure about this one)

I know that my year has been the strongest year for my school in the past 50 years. It showed up in the results for school cert which sucks :(. The best I can really hope for is that my cohort can scale me up.
My cohort isn't the only one that is strong..I've heard rumors that all the year 12s this year in NSW is the strongest in 50 years. I'm so damn scared!! I wish I was born a year later or something!!!
I've heard otherwise... I was told that 2012 cohort wasn't that good compared to other years? But who knows, they are rumours after all...
my school's pretty weak though :(

My school always has a few guns at the top but overall not like the more elitist schools, most people just don't care. But the school captain this year has an estimated ATAR of 99.95 though :)

think ive mentioned on here before, but I recall that BWB class of 2012 is probably going to be the best that the school will have. The school is expecting around 10 98-99ers this year, also with the avg ATAR being a lot higher compared with last years cohort (my cohort, which was last year's were full of dropkicks :/).

So which 2012 cohorts are stronger/weaker than their 2011 counterparts? I heard Ruse's 2012 cohort is one of the strongest in years, are there any other schools like that? Also which ones are weaker?
Thanks :)
Well that isn't too good is it...
