From what I've read, there's no CD key for Diablo 1 so it would be difficult to authenticate a copy using the DRM system Blizzard currently use unless they code something to do that. In that case, is it worth the cost doing that?

Well since they aren't selling it anywhere, they may as well give it away for free without any DRM.

Not since year 10 actually, no. Was good stuff during 7-10.

I often like to go back to 'retro' games I played when I was young. I recently downloaded Quake 3 Arena, which was pretty big back in the day (and still should be, really).
