It won't increase by that much. We always feel like chem exams are easy but in fact they are always marked quite harshly.
Estimated cutoff ~73-4

Actually I agree with the 72/74 because I underestimated the ease of losing marks due to ignorance and just lack of attention to detail

Actually... My rank is 37/105 in a school ranked 49th. And i think i got around 80% raw+... so i think the cut off will be higher ;)

You always get lower than what you think. Welcome to Chem marking.

Every year people say the test was easier than before.
Every year the cut off ends up being about the same.

72+/-2

Lol, getting the MC was ridiculously easy. i at max lost 2. the option was pretty much free marks. and the short answers were just simple calculations and some mini essays which were just so straightforward.

I can never see chem cut offs go to as low as 70 or as high as 76. The middle range looks likely for b6 cutoffs imo

Yes, the markers are so picky about certain things. Didn't write that the sulfuric acid catalyst needs to be concentrated? No mark for you.

actually, theres a big difference between conc. h2so4 and dilute h2so4
But when a question asks for a catalyst, it's usually like Fe3O4, or V2O5, so you tend not to think of things like concentration. I can see it being a common mistake (and a silly one too).
