Also need to remember how old the s2k is and IMO the only real value of owning that particular car someone else modified is that it was done by a celebrity.

As others mentioned I would rather a clean car and then do it myself (or get things done myself) so I can both appreciate each step and know where the risky skeleton in the closet type stuff is. And I would also know who I could go to for help because of their familiarity (unless the MCM guys are offering their help and a warranty?).

That actually did it in a similar time to some stats of the Testarossa for both 0-100 and 0-160.

Testa is an 80s supercar though haha, of course a modern-ish stock turbo car (with a tune) can keep up/go faster!

Ferraris can be tuned too though! (not cheap, but I doubt that's a problem to people who own and are keen to modify them) Even to extremes, John Carmack and John Romero from ID Software supposedly had 800-1000hp twin turbo testas at IDs peak haha. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L51eoUFp_YA (talks about electric cars/Tesla at first, but mentions his old Testa eventually)

impressive, is it stock?

Claimed stock with ECU tuning in the description though I'm not too sure about that one.

I'm wondering where the Testarossa would be losing power though. Air intake in the back, Ignition method and possibly RWD *could* be why but I doubt it's just that restricting it's power to unleash.

is it true that the wrx is just a detuned STi? and a remap of the ecu makes it into an sti?

Iirc a few things like suspension and steering are quite different.

Also with some generations, the WRX is 2.0 whereas STI is actually 2.5 L
