keep in mind my school is ranked 400+, and i used raw marks. i used raw mark calculators, and hsc raw mark info, and it said i could at least get an 85. is that true? carrotsss raw mark atar calculator says 92.3 (that is using agriculture instead of investigating since it doesn’t exist).

trial marks as numbers have no direct influence on internal hsc marks. school rank has no direct influence on hsc marks, they simply tend to reflect the performance of a school's cohort in the external exams.

there is no way to obtain a realistic atar estimate unless you have a genuine and realistic figure of your performance in externals and the performance of your cohort. if you have this information, then most atar calculators will give a roughly accurate figure; if you don't then you will have no idea.

i know, i was recreating my last atar estimate with the added hsc raw mark column. i tried my best to estimate my performance, which is the mark in that column. i know this atar estimate wont be 100% accurate, i just want some idea so i can make peace with it before december 18th.

This estimate makes the reasonable assumption that you will achieve the highest HSC exam mark within your cohort for the subjects in which you are ranked first, allowing for a maximised overall HSC mark in those subjects. Given this information, your performance is likely consistent with an ATAR between 88.5 and 90 inclusive. This is a significant increase compared to the previous estimate that I provided, which is great! 🥳

The subjects that will most likely make the greatest contribution to your ATAR are Mathematics Standard and Visual Arts. Your overall performance in both of these subjects appears to be the best compared to the rest of your subjects.

English Advanced will likely make a similar contribution to your ATAR, i.e. slightly lower than that of Mathematics Standard and Visual Arts but still close. Similarly, Legal Studies may make a good contribution, although it will likely be lower than that of English Advanced.

On the other hand, your exact position in Investigating Science seems a bit more difficult to pinpoint given the apparent uncertainty regarding your HSC exam performance, although the information provided is still sufficient to make reasonable inferences in terms of this subject's contribution to your ATAR. Compared to your other subjects, Investigating Science will likely make the lowest contribution to your ATAR.

I hope this helps! 😄
