the protagonist's girlfriend died and she (#wlw representation) is recalling their memories and grieving while drinking her morning coffee. coffee was a big part of their lives so it's very nostalgia evoking but also gross bc her girlfriend made it better. then she almost chokes and dies but has an epiphany that 'to have loved and lost is better than not having loved at all'wait what's ur prose piece abt. (I just need to leach off some ideas lmao)
