5=2ax-b let that be equation one
now differentiate again...
d^2y/dx^2=2a
also we know d^2y/dx^2=12
so 12=2a
a=6
now go back to equation one
5=2ax-b
we know know what a is...(a=6) put that in... and we also know what x is...(x=2)
put all that info in
5=2(6)(2)-b
5=24-b
b=24-5
b=19
