summarise yr notes in a fashion that closely resembles the syllabus keep yr notes brief as possible (to the things u have difficulties remembering) but dont forget to at least mention the stuff u do know already

if u can solve basic algebra thats enough, but i guess whatevers comfortable with you.. i'd personally recommend at least 2unit

yeh follow without_wings' suggestion assuming u dont noe much about the essay topics, u shud: 1. identify key words throughout the essay questions e.g. inflation, effects, identify, explain, current account deficit etc. 2. mark them to the syllabus to find out wut u need 2 noe about that...

i know the thread creator has finished the eco exam as well but for 2007 economics students.. do not get macquarie revision guide for economics. for business it's great but not for economics. best to summarise dixon properly into syllabus headings and study those notes.

holiday workshops are great, but getting a regular motivated tutor is even better.

first up, for short answers you dont need to give 'one extra'. just get to the point whilst being concise and accurate. band five - six essays. -in general be clear -include definitions -the theory must be concise -include statistics indicating practical economics -always be sure...

there's a 16 year old girl in my year who is in the top 5 ranks of all her subjects competing against 17 and 18 year olds.

my teacher really tries to teach but she just can't. her methods and organisation is just appauling, but i'd congradulate her for trying so hard. her previous (2005) HSC students did pretty good thou... anyway i'd recommend teaching it to yourself and getting a tutor

the more you sleep the more you feel tired and restless. on normal school days i sleep usually around 2am and get up about 6:20 to start studying

having a heavy workload is so demotivating and such a joy killer esp. since it's the holidays. i'd rather set my own task and goals throughout the holidays. anyone agree?
