Are you guys still motivated to do the hsc to the best of your abilities?

Motivation for me definitely fluctuates. There are times where I'm really into it and other times where I CBF. It's a matter of pacing yourself and giving yourself breaks when you deserve it :) Usually I got motivated by my results following my exams because I want to improve or continue at a...

atar estimate and a rough idea on what ranks i need

saying ~70s...you definitely need to push everything up and ace trials to guarantee mid 70 to low 80 atar its hard to estimate because generally the lower the school rank, the less data available to see how many b6's, etc. what are your % marks? that might help with giving a more accurate...

My Assessment ranks, Am i doing it ok?

put more effort into modern because i can see it drag you down im going to say about low 90s right now because some of your ranks aren't finalised

Should i drop physics? Is it a risk to have 10 units?

Drop it - not worth the extra time or money to find a tutor. If you're confident you can ace your other 10 units, don't bother wasting time on 2 units that's going to take extra time and might not even count. You can use that extra time to work on your other subjects as well.

Why does the second derivative fail for y=x^4 and other similar functions?

You can use the table method so you check values on either side of your "x" when f'(x)=0

Chance of getting E4 in Ext 1 Maths???!!!

school rank? its really hard to answer these types of questions but if you go to a low ranked school, you probably need to be in the top 3 ish if you're really going for an E4

    4U Maths or not?

If you can't motivate yourself to do 3u I think you need to consider doing 4u because there's a lot of work involved and if you CBF, probs won't be a good idea to do it.
