I did Japanese Cont. a couple of years back. I think its just practice, keep up with all the vocab, kanji, sentence patterns etc, as soon as you learn something incorporate it as much as you can so you don't forget it. Whatever you do...DO NOT fall behind!

yeah even your school doesn't know. they do get your hsc marks though but if you don't want to tell anyone your uai then they will never know.

i can answer some of your questions *i'd imagine for the job prospects alone, comm/law would be your best bet as law is generally highly regarded. * i know six or seven people who have just finished first year law thinking they would like it, etc. one has dropped out and none of the others...

i think your ability and scaling is the least of your problems here because they are similar in both respect across pretty much all subjects (except for bio but you're first anyway). it all comes down to interest. hsc physics is quite different to preliminary. it does build on the year 11...
