I did about a page of simplifying then noticed a tiny mistake further up the page so I just gave up and went back to do questions I'd missed. I got a lot more marks that way I must say.

I also made the error of putting October 2010. It's almost like they wanted us to screw it up.

Good stuff, you just gave me a lot more confidence with what I've done haha. I made a stupid error with October/November and a couple of other silly mistakes, but most of the marks I lost out on I just didn't do. The only one I'm not sure I agree on is 9)c)ii) and iii) I might have got the same...

Some parts were harder than other years, some were easier. On the whole I'd say about the same level. I'm hoping for 100+, but I'm not sure if I'll get it or not. Depends on how many stupid errors I made (which hopefully weren't many, but I'm not counting on it).

yeah first everyone's raw mark gets adjusted, so your external becomes your adjusted external mark. Then you're given your internal mark based on those adjusted externals and they're averaged to give you your final mark. hope that made sense, but basically raw mark =/= external mark

You get the average of your exam mark and your internal mark, so it does have a fair bit of an effect on your final mark. Extreme example - you're ranked first but you get 70 for your exam. Top mark from your school is 98. You end up with an overall mark of 84 - up 14 from your exam.

Yeah I saw the trailer for that a while ago it looks pretty good. Also from the director of Thank You For Smoking so that's another plus. Wonder when it comes out here.
