    Estimate for friend

School Rank: 420s (2015 was a VERY weak cohort), 338 (2014), 300 (2013) Currently our school looks fairly competitive compared to last year so last year's indication is not as relevant. The following marks only include internal assessments/assignments, including the trials. All years that are...

    Atar Calculationa

Their estimates are 1 year old. I've heard a lot of people say Matrix is good but that thread was from the 2014ers. Haven't seen many 2015ers say it was right. How much does that matter?

    Atar Calculationa

Scaled internal. Hitching off this topic : how does the atarcalc calculator compare to the other ones esp. Talent 100? They give me majorly different results.

What is the best double degree in combination with Commerce?

@turntaker & Flop21, I never got a clear answer on whether doing a double is bad or not.

What is the best double degree in combination with Commerce?

I currently only have 3 preferences in my UAC - all BComms in UNSW, MacQ, and USyd respectively. I'm not really sure what to do in the future, but at least I'm mostly interested in BComm and it seems well suited for me. I have heard BArts is good for a wide range of courses, and will allow you...

    Is 14units too much

Pinging KOA (he does 15 units HSC). IMO 14 units is too much of a stressload, especially if you have outlier subjects that aren't worth it.

Time spent on English questions during an exam!

About 2 minutes per mark. Larger questions can take up extra time, and most of the time 1 or 2 markers can take less. Not something to blindly follow as it will depend on your ability to answer questions.

We had that as well for 7-12, but during the Winter period only. Now that we have Jerseys, the outer layer rules are nullified, but inside layers still apply.

    Markovnikov's rule?

Re: Markovnikov rule? Nothing like it.

    2016ers Chit-Chat Thread

lmao fuck our school. a friend got banned for wearing his jersey because he didn't wear a collar shirt w/ tie under it (which is our normal uniform). Apparently the principle said that if more people are caught for the same thing, he'll ban all the jersey's even if we only have like 1-2 weeks...

Is Work Experience only limited in Year 10?

Actually. Ask your career advisor. I'm sure there are some schools that do work experience in the holidays. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Is Work Experience only limited in Year 10?

Sure but the school only provides the program during those periods. Ask your career advisor. As I said it always depends on how your school manages their annual schedule, since our exams are on during the work experience period. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Is Work Experience only limited in Year 10?

What's the point? Look for a part-time job and do the same thing but get paid. The school just provides to you work certificates.
