From experiance YES. There were 14 people in my grade doing biology and 10 people were consistently failing getting 20-30, all under 50 however. There were 2 ppl getting 50-60 and me and another were getting 80+. Come the hsc every single person in my grade passed. This annoyed me as me and...

Theoretically u dont NEED notes BUT if you want the higher marks it would be a good idea to make notes as it is important as other have mentioned to know you texts, techniques, also how the relate to the unit (eg/ powerplay, journey etc)

Yeah its only one unit so what i would do is kep it for now unitl the 1/2 year;ys at least...its just that extra bit of security for ur uai...if u find that afer 1/2 yrly u cant stand it then i would consider dropping it and focusing on ur other units more

Same as uow...well some courses have set units u need to do but what i have found (meaning what me and my friends/others i know) is just to look at the subject handbooks and read up...i knew already what i wanted but yeah faculty handbooks help a lot
