    BE/BSc

On enrolment day, you need to tell the uni which stream of engineering (eg Civil, Mechanical etc) you are taking with your combined degree. note you must get both the required ATAR for the general BE/BSc and the ATAR for the relevant stream of engineering (eg if you want to do BE(Aeronautical...

Engineering flexible first year, best option?

You are "almost" correct - except for the credit WAM Look at the flexible first year transfer table at http://sydney.edu.au/handbooks/engineering/rules/faculty_resolutions.shtml. Some streams have WAM requirements more than 65.

Advice! B Computer Science and Technology vs. B Sc/ B Arts?

There are some subtle differences between BCST and BSc majoring in computer science. Without going into excessive details, BSCT requires more IT subjects over the duration of the degree, while the BSC will "force" you to do stuff other than maths and IT (at least in the earlier years). The...

    chemical engineering

You should do the maths bridging course, but even that does not guarantee success (2 weeks intensive course does not make up for not doing 2 years of 3U maths), but it is a good start. You must be right on the ball in Maths from Day 1 of uni.

    Electrical then into Civil ?

The E12 scheme will get you into Elec eng, but not guarantee you Civil. Clauses 2 & 3 apply - http://sydney.edu.au/handbooks/engineering/rules/faculty_resolutions.shtml The subjects you do in first year EE are a bit different to Civil, and there would be some backtracking involved Compare...

If I do engineering flexible first year than do I have to do 4 years or 5 yeras?

4 years - as long as you are in the right stream of FFY. There is FFY(A) that goes into Civil, Aero, Chemical, etc and FFY (B) that leads you to Elec, Mechatronic, IT etc. If you swap between those it is more than 4 yrs. See...

    Student email error

I would suggest using imap on your client rather than pop/smtp protocol. If at a later stage you need to use web based reader (eg while you are at uni using their computer) or use a smart phone, it will synch multiple clients much beter.
