4U Maths, or continue with Chem?

Assuming you don't have to do the 2 Unit test if you do 4 unit, it'd be wise to pick that up if you're good at maths. 11 units sounds good to me, because it leaves you room to stuff up one HSC test (50 marks) and it won't impact your ATAR provided that you did well in the internal exams for...

    Business Studies Help

Just to add - it's important to note that only unincorporated businesses can become bankrupt, where only incorporated businesses can become insolvent.

What does your desk look like?

Studying notes off iPad/computer ftw! Handouts and articles are also scanned and put on the computer and the paper is recycled for you guys to steal! (textbooks and stuff are hidden in the draws)

Best way to start off an economics essay?

I should have mentioned that I'm currently in year 11 and for our assessment worth 10% we have to write a 5 page essay for a case study on China (since China will be our case study in year 12 it will be a good idea to do it in year 11). So yeah, basically a 5 page essay on a two part question.

Best way to start off an economics essay?

I have an essay with two questions, one of which is comparing Australia to China which should only be a quarter of an essay. Should the introduction be introducing the questions and saying all the points that will be in your essay and in order?

Collecting/reading article by Ross Gittins in the SMH

Do you recommend anyone particular or do you recommend reading a variety of articles by different people?

    First impressions of yr 11

Some teachers are casual and don't work on certain days and that's why some people have free periods here. Luckily that's only for the classes like PE.

Collecting/reading article by Ross Gittins in the SMH

My economics teacher told us that we should read articles that Ross Gittins writes in the Sydney Morning Herald as he aims his articles for students and follows closely with the syllabus. His page is here: http://www.smh.com.au/business/by/Ross-Gittins Are his articles all you need to know...

    First impressions of yr 11

It was great. Almost every teacher explained how we should refer to syllabus while studying and tick off everything you've covered.

By studying every day does it mean reading over what you did in class that day?

This is going to be my first year studying every day except the weekends (or would you guys recommend studying on an ordinary weekend when there's no upcoming tests?) and I've been thinking, by studying every day do you just read over and make sure you understand everything you did in class that...

    Bos fail!

Okay so our computer skills test was at 12pm today, right? Well we arrive there, open the program up and guess what? It doesn't load after a few minutes. So we try a few times then the supervisors finally give up. They call the deputy and the computer people in and try to contact BOS... their...

Did any of you choose Ancient History?

Awesome! And yeah, for year 11. :) Modern sounds interesting I guess, unfortunately it's not going to run next year :P Artemis, is it true that there are heaps of essays for modern history but only a few for Ancient? That's what I got told by the teachers.

    General Thoughts: English–literacy

Yeah, I did that one too. All the other answers were pretty bizarre. One of my friends said the answer was that the people in the train were surprised at her or something. I'm quite sure lack of imagination was the correct answer.

Did any of you choose Ancient History?

I hope it runs - there are around 16-17 people doing it so I hope the principal approves it. I think Ancient history is so much more interesting than modern history especially boring Australian history! So who else chose Ancient?

    General Thoughts: English–literacy

I thought it said desire instead of determination. If it's determination then extinguish sounds about right.

    General Thoughts: Science

Was H on the far bottom right or was the one that was exposed? >.> One of them were at the bottom but the same one occurred at the top, so I just picked the one above that.

    General Thoughts: English–literacy

They could all work. I was thinking either satisfy or fulfil but in the end I put fulfil. I'm pretty sure it was satisfy, no?
