    Maccas!

BLoody ridiculous! I'm only getting ONE shift next week! Is that fucked up or what? When I came back to school, I expected to get 4 shifts, instead I had 2, and now it's down to a measly one shift a week. How the hell do I live off that? I'm saving for a holiday.

    Laptops for Uni

Re: Laptop Nothing wrong with notebook computers. Netbooks are fine too. I have an Acer Aspire One notebook. It has a nice 8.9" screen. It's the perfect size; so small and compact that it won't kill my shoulders when I carry it in my messenger bag.

Don't you think they're allowed to have a life outside of tennis? It's like going to work. Obviously you're not going to have that dominating your life. A lot of tennis players do things outside the sport. Some study and get degrees, others are like the Williams sisters and have their own...

Men's Doubles Final was disappointing. I really wanted Mark Knowles and Bhupati to win that, they had so much momentum and they should have closed out that second set. No doubt the Mixed Doubles won't last long [stupid rules, even for normal Doubles play, in the third set, they go to a...

I need to vent. I'm so frustrated at the rules for Doubles Matches!! Why are the doubles matches so quick?!! WHY!! Who was silly enough to change the rule, in MIXED DOUBLES to No Advantage Point on Deuce. That's ridiculous. I mean, spectators want to see a LONG, exciting contest. What's the...

Jelena Dokic is back! She'll definitely get into top 50 by end of 2009, if not better. That quarter she played with Safina was so close! If not for the unforced errors, she could have easily wiped her russian opponent out of the Open! Look, everyone behaves that way. Who doesn't get pissed off...

Seven messed up today. The result of the Murray-Verdasco match is already known and they're replaying it. Even Jim Courier had to play dumb [coming up...] Seriously?

Don't WRITE HER OFF just yet. She might just prove you wrong. I hate it when people say, 'oh well, they did a good job' stop doubting start believing!! I hope Dokic wins just to prove people wrong. Tennis isn't just about rankings. If it were, Jelena would have never got it to Quarters.

That's ironic considering your avatar. :haha:

    Australian Open

Trust me, I don't think she'll make JUST semis. I think this woman is capable of MAKING THE GRAM SLAM FINAL. :music: This is a really heart-warming story. That aside, I'm sure both Dinara and Jelena are incredibly tired after their 4th round matches, perhaps more so Jelena as she has just had...

    Australian Open

Let's go, Jelena Dokic!! Kleybanova is only ranked 29, so Jelena should have not too much difficulty disposing her, like the 17th and 11th seeds. C'mon, I want to see her in Quarters!

    Maccas!

LOL, not retarded at all. I love it there, even though most people say it's hard work, and it is, but the people you meet there make up for everything, which is why most people enjoy it. Others outside the job can't imagine working here, but it's really not that bad, to be honest. Pay was...

Apparently Ivanovic doesn't have a coach - interesting fact, she really should get one, it can help cement her game; notice how she goes for low-margin winners, and while they're great, she makes so many errors on easy points.

    Maccas!

Read on. All restaurants are different. Your store might email it to you [like my store does] And if you like to work at the back, just request it. Shift supervisor should be very flexible. To be honest, on my first shift I didn't even get a crew trainer, so don't worry about crew trainers...

    Australian Open

Alissa Keyblanova, who beat last year's runner-up Ana Ivanovic! So upsetting seeing Ana go out like this, I can't imagine how disappointed she must be. Jelena has to destroy Keyblanova, who's ranked 29!! C'mon Jelena, if you can beat the 11th seed, nothing should stop you from having a win over...

    Australian Open

Bernard Tomic? Yeah, he's doing well, considering it was his debut senior grand slam. Would have liked to see him win his 2nd round, but then again he's only 16; plenty of time to develop his game fully. Give him a few years, and we'll see big things from him.

    Australian Open

That.. is a huge shocker.. On the other hand... JELENA DOKIC IS GOING TO WIN THE NEXT MATCH! I say that because if she can knock out the 17th and 11th seeds, there's no reason she won't demolish this top 30 player. Basically it's a pass to the Quarter Finals. She has to go to the QF...

    Australian Open

Cheers for Jelena Dokic!! I didn't doubt that Dokic was going down after losing the first set - she was playing well and really kept tight with Wozniacki. Amazing to see her through to the 4th Round of the AUS OPEN! Her best performance here was years ago, where she lost in the 3rd round.

    Juggling School/Uni and Job

So how do those of us who work and still go to school/uni feel about juggling these two commitments? I'm starting year 11 next wednesday, and I'm not overly stressed out about it, seeing as though I'll just be starting the Prelimary Course with nothing too major and it's early days. But I am...
