OUCH!! Good luck :S Yeah my hand will be sore after IPT - it always is after 3 hours of writing. But at least one saving grace is that there's no extended responses. I'd much prefer a few 6-markers than some 20-markers.

Yeah that could be true. The only way we'll know I guess is if they somehow make us all sit a common test to accurately pit us against them and see who genuinely has the better skills. *Shrugs* If that's not the answer I don't know what is.

Hahaha, Bravo! :D I have no problem with them having this so-called 'advantage' over the rest of the state. They are damn hard workers and I know this because their performance ranks them first overall - that's not an easy accomplishment and it's one you can't get without many years of...

Yeah people confuse the two a lot. I've heard that what you say is true - they often align IPT to a higher mark (as my school had about 4 people last year with a band 6) but Sydney Uni scales the mark lower for the purposes of UAI calculation due to its relative ease compared to other subjects...

Hahaha once when I was watching The Simpsons I was like "Wow, that's a creative use of colour there" and then I was like "oh shit, English is making me analyse things I watch now :(" But it's over so I'm happy!! :D

I got 7/10 I think which is pretty cruddy, considering in hindsight how easy the questions were. Hopefully I redeemed myself in the other sections! :S
