I don't work there but I've been to there interviews. According to the interviewer, wages range from $10-$18. I'm assuming that you're going for those Customer Service Assistant positions so don't expect that much as you're starting from the bottom.

So, would it be reasonable to say that its impossible for someone to get a UAI 100 if they attend a public school that's not even in the top 200, but topped all they're subjects at school and gets an aligned mark of like 98 for every subject. Has this ever happened before?

Anyone intending to go to the Snow from this day beyond....DO NOT GO! I just came back yesterday from a skool camp and the snow at thredbo sucked!! It was almost 10 degrees there! I guess all the snow (or ice!) was artificial :P Our snow this year is really bad, less than half the mountain...

I haven't been to boarding before, but I have a friend who does. It's hell! You sleep early, and wake up even earlier! And you live a "set" timetable EVERYDAY!!! Perhaps it might not be like that at your school, cuz he's in New Zealand but I guess it'll still be somewhat similar.

Whoa! I'm not in yr 11 right now, but studying South Africa must very interesting! Hmmm.....makes me want to pick modern next year...... hehehe, I was born there btw. =P

Study frequently in short "bursts" and make plenty of notes. ^^

Physics isn't really that hard. As many say, all you need to do is put in the effort. And you really don't have to remember formulas, they're always given to you in exams, all you need to know is how to manipulate and use them. My suggestion to you for that extra unit is pick English Extension...

I guess ur right sasquatch. I'm not "up there" in English right now, but I'm still doing Eng Ext next yr. I just feel that if I'm commited and passionate about the course, I'll get the results from the effort I put in. And good on ya, hope you do just as well in the HSC!

It wouldn't matter the slightest bit. I don't even think I learned much in Commerce... Talk to your teachers or careers advisor for advice on subject selection. They have much valuable advice!

i have a friend doing 15 units as well. If you're determined that you can balance and excel in them, it is not a concern at all!

I rewrite my notes too, but only for physics as its the most important subject to me right now. It's almost impossible for me to study from my school excercise book, the stuff are all over the place! It sometimes gets abit embarassing showing you book to others, its like your lil bro/sis done...
