haven't bothered learning any prepared essays...just making sure I know the stuff, so I can answer anything they throw at me. of course will do practice essays, but won't try and memorise them...

I just made my normal class notes, summarised the textbook, and then used the syllabus for revision. There are a few things in the syllabus that's generally not in the textbook, so either you make notes on them, or just learn them and remember them. Your teacher will probably go through them...

yea I saw that sheet...as well as all the mistakes I made. what was really annoying, was that looking back at the question paper, I realised that most of the mistakes I made, were the ones where I decided to choose the least obvious answer (though a possible one), just to amuse myself...

they probably will, but there's always the other option to do, which is a generally broad question...which I'll probably end up doing! that assignment was the only one I mucked up. Now all I can rely on for my country, is some notes from this seminar I went to...

yea, just do heaps of questions. you have to get alot of concepts and stuff into your head quick, and make sure it stays there for the majority of the time.

yea, our headmaster repeatedly tells us how just mentioning what school we come from, will open up doors everywhere. It is pretty unfair, but hey, might as well get something out of being private! oh, barker's only co-ed for yr11-12, I believe. so they're yr10s still have that compulsory...

The scaling is based on the overall performance of the candidates. If the candidature in a certain course, does very well in most of their subjects, then that subject will be scaled up quite high. What you'll find is that in the easier subject, whilst they may ace it, they will do comparatively...

economics is mad! and fun! now I've just got to remember what was in it.

yea, I doubt the rest of the state is as good as us :D but then again, maybe we're too optimistic. why else would we be on here anyway, chatting away about trivial stuff and proving ourselves wrong? they even look at the SC? as if anyone would try at all in that, surely they know that?

I'll give you an example of a question "Time how long it takes to get from the bottom of space probe, to the top" I'll always remember that one, cause I timed it, got to the top, looked up at the count down screen, and was shocked when it dropped that I let go of my stopwatch and had to grab...
