You should go to a cse lab and use the sirius system to register. From home you could use an ssh client to check your mail, or even better, a pop3 client (eg outlook, but dont use outlook!). I got someone sending me a "re:hello" message with a .pif attachment. Lucky i wasnt using outlook, or...

Dr Jie Du, I reckon he's okay, just a bit hard to understand, and the fact that the maths he's teaching is confusing makes it worse.. (sets is the subset of the set :confused:)

Do you think it's worth it to go ahead the lecturer in terms of mathematics? These calculus notes seems very good to boot, and turning up to lectures may be a chore in the future...

What's the average really? talking about computer programming freaks, I know this guy who knows c++, haskell and lisp, and apparently he is the one who won the programming competition, I reckon he's gonna get 99.. scary :p
