For me sdd is like an extra course to make up easy units, if you can't really achieve without doing too much work, I don't think it's worth doing. The more you enjoy the subject, generally the better you will perform, and yes like most people, their teacher's are absolute morons so it's...

Are you joking, look at the statictics, like 1.5% of the candidates of SDD got a band6, sdd is pretty crappy scaling actually, so you have to perform at the top 1% of the state pretty much to get a band6 and trust me, the negative scaling is quite harsh.

I don't think so, I had a look at my cousins hsc thingo, just had the school mark, hsc mark and the average, then the UAI.

What was your estimate? Estimate usually means u will get that with the amount you have been previously studying :) maybe just a little bit more.

I do similar subjects to you, except ipt, i do sdd ,and ancient, i do chem 85 aligned for all of them would apparently get you 97.25 from lazseeker, so i'd say +-2 uai from those marks
