I did performance, and if you find the right monologue, and perform it exceptionally well then you'll be fine. I don't really think any of the IP choices that you are given discriminate against one another when it comes to marking, however I must admit that theoretical IPs are much more time...

Thats why I wish I did Hoover instead of Hearst...with Hearst they can ask all kind of random ones like: Outline Hearsts business life...or personal life...or contribution to the newspapers of USA... Then again, apparently only 90 kids Hearst last year (!) so I have a good chance of whipping...

It's true. Year 11 is supposed to be a breeding ground for ideas for Year 12. My IP monologue ended up being from the same playwright as my Year 11 monologue. But Neo does have a point, perhaps the teacher wanted to see you extend yourself. I dunno about u Val, but I know I improved a lot...

44/50 22 for each section. I felt ripped...I wrote 6 pages of top quality stuff in tiny writing for my essay and then wrote what I thought to be the most inarticulate creative piece...AND GOT THE SAME MARK FOR BOTH!
