practicals-what do we need 2 know?

Back the the topic, they can always ask how you did the experiment you performed. That sucks. Then again, they can always ask you how to improve the reliability of the experiements. That sucks too. They also require you to know the variables, and what needs to be controlled. That suck even...

    since |z|2 = |x2 + y2| |z| = |sqrt(x2 + y2)| |z| = sqrt(x2 + y2) there ya go

    Post 2003 CSSA Trials

Catholic Secondary School Association (CSSA) They sell trial papers to schools, so that teachers won't have to work so much to make the trials :D. It also gives the teachers some kind of "expectancy" on the class performance, compared to the whole state i guess..

    very simple complex numbers thought

im not too sure, but |z| means distance right? then, if you're not calculating that using modulus, you do this let z = x+iy |z| = |x+iy| = |x - iy| then, |z|2 = |x+iy||x-iy| = |x2 + y2| .....(1) then the number could be added, and then square root...

Yes you can. First thing i'd do if I were you, is to get some notes of the boredofstudies website (the main site) on physics. At least gotta know the basics. Second, get a past paper book, that successone is pretty good for improving your mark. Lastly, just keep reading the textbook...

    CSSA short/longer answers- not a rip of RR's thread k :)

My teacher replaced all of medical physics since we've only done ultrasound. There was this mistake where a very easy question (no more than 2 sentence needed?) was worth 4 marks, and 2 harder questions only worth 1 mark each..

How was it ? CSSA Trial

especially if you've drawn the graph. Integrating vertically (using y instead of x) would still get you the same answer :) damn.. i could have done that induction part, was just lost in the way :( (hope i got a free mark tho :))
