my current english teacher is horrible. but there is a shiniing light....only 3 days left. :p:D edit/ i thought this was advanced. :p my ext eng teacher is quite good actually. with a small class, 5 people, we work well. the atmosphere is unlike other classes.

because at different temperatures, blackbodies will radiate different dominant wavelengths. each of the lines represents a different scenario. the lines are independent of each other. i think this is where you may be confused.... they could have quite easily put each line on its own graph...

ext 1 maths: recommended, but depends on what other books you have/will have. standard english: not sure, but if its anything like the advanced one, then you should not buy it. much better to purchase the individual study guides. legal studies: not sure. business studies: not sure. software...

basically, the peak intensity moves to a lower wavelength and higher frequency radiation with increasing temperature. in other words, the dominant wavelength in a blackbody when the temperature is 24 000 K will be shorter than the dominant wavelength when the temperature is 6 000 K. 24 000K:)

well...no. ext2 maths gets counted as 2units(so does 3u maths, which adds up to 4 units, 2u maths not counted) it might be because english is compulsory...

a little bit off-topic, but fuck i hate cops. teachers think they deserve more because they feel they are the key to the future(students they teach), which is understandable. i dont know the figures involved, but they have to be careful not to abuse their power by going on strikes.

lol lex, why would you find this suspicious? coroneos, best advice would be to ask your teacher for some from yester years and study in the meantime.:)

i bet the exam was an old one, before the syllabus got ammended. you will come across a lot of such questions when you do past papers. best to ask your teacher to confirm that a certain question is out of the syllabus or check for yourself using the syllabus.
