No, not at all. The fact is a lot apply for the scholarships even though they won't get the marks to get in. I myself could be considered in this category, after all B Commerce was 96 to get in last year and I reckon it is going to raise some more. I might get 96, but I will definately not get...

BTW Chris and Craig are good in my opinion, especially their TV shows. CNNNN was great TV and The Chaser Decides brought some humour to the election, which was long overdue.

Romour has it Safran will be taking over either Adam and Wil for the morning weekday shifts on JJJ (6-9 am I think) or afternoon shifts, taking over the Today Today boys (2 - 5:30pm). Correct me if I'm wrong on the times. Does anyone know for sure if/what he is taking over on JJJ next year?

Talking about phonons is most definately not required. My physics teacher has been on the board to write the physics HSC paper on several occasions, and is a senior marker. Overall, an excellent teacher. He has never talked about phonons at all, in fact the first time I have ever heard of them...

What about that time payment crap? I realised today that I don't really know that at all, because I was away when we covered it and never bothered to catch up. Is it worth learning it incase it is in the 3-unit exam, even though they haven't had any time payment questions in there for as long as...

My teacher had the graph, it contained the scaled marks vs raw marks for 3-unit, 2-unit, and General as well as 4-unit. Unfortunately I do not have a copy.

Another sponsor cropped up after they awarded out the scholarships and so another lucky candidate was taken, taking the total up to 16.

I had a look at a graph of Raw marks vs Scaled marks a while ago, and it is pretty motivating. My trial mark for 4u was 60%, and according to the graph that would scale to 46/50, which is 92/100. I know I can most definately get higher than 60% in the HSC, probably more up around 70-80%, so...
