    A good way to learn is to get a graphing program (many free ones are available) and just get it to draw different graphs. Then you can fiddle around and see what altering a variable does.

    Success One answers are excellent but they are far far too detailed. Answers which half much less than their answers would still score full marks in exam situations (even the book says this). However they are a good guide as to what it is you should be writing, and how to set up your responses...

    The test was weird. Many worded questions, but Electricity and Mag. was generally pretty good. Test 1R was difficult. I attempted it after finishing Test 2 completely, and I almost managed to finish it, just left out half of a question. btw, were you in Level 4 at randwick for the exam?

    The exam was ok. I was pushed for time, and I knew how to do all but 3 of the questions (1 of which i figured out, but ran out of time). I just hope I made no silly errors in the matrix questions, some of the numbers became messy...

    Seriously guys, how hard is it to make up a scientist on the spot. Just say its a relative of yours if your teacher asks. It might even be true :D I didn't even study for this dotpoint when I did the HSC. Consider yourself extremely unlucky if you get examined on it in the HSC... :D

    In that case, just think of the advantages semiconductors have over traditional valves. For example they are much smaller, they use far less power, they are more reliable (they dont have any fragile heating filmanets), they operate at room temperature etc. Check the resources for some good...
