    Parabolas!!!!

    To add to that: General equation for a quadratic x^2 - (sum of roots)x + product of roots ax^2 +bx +c = 0 let roots be A and B A + B = -b/a AB=c/a

    BCS theory

Yes, that is correct. Clearly it is not simple to describe how the theory that energy is quantised explains black body radiation curves... I have read that Planck used statistical mathematics of a very high degree to come up with a formula to explain the curves. For example take a look at...

    Nazis Prosecuted

Nice work. A bit similar to the KKK member who get jailed yesterday for the death of those three civil rights workers in mississippi in the 1960s.

source analysis (last question of WW1)

You should be writing about 2 and a half pages (in teh hsc they give you two, but u should go over that slightly) in my opinion to get full marks. You should refer to the source but dont just say "the source tells us this and that" constatnly, you should interpret what its saying as well...

    Assess or Evaluate

For assess questions basically you talk about a number of reasons and then "choose" a reason/reasons which are most important. For example take last years HSC question "Assess the view that the collapse of the Weimar Republic was primarily due to the appeal of Hitler and his Nazi Party." In...

    Exponential equation help

You should usually divide first before taking the log of both sides. ANyway this is how you do it: 2e5t = 75 e5t = 75/2 ln e5t= ln (75/2) 5t= ln(75/2) t = [ln(75/2)] /5 = 0.725 to three significant figures

How do u determine the direction in which a charge moves??

You use the right hand rule...to determine the direction of the force. To determine the direction the charge moves they would have to give you the direction of the force. Can you please post an example, maybe it would be easier to understand then :)

    Physics Practicals

put a magnet in and out of a coil...you will see that the current produced in teh coil flicks back and forth if its connected to an ammeter. Hence AC is induced.

    Trig Qu...

    it works.... u = (1-sqrt5) / 2 sin x = (1-sqrt5) /2 = -0.66.... multiply by negative 1 and add pi = 3.80 the other solution is just 2pi - 0.66.. = 5.62
