Write your own notes. I find the process of writing them to be better revision than reading them, and I hate other people's notes......they don't centre-align or have colour coded headings like mine :(

I feel defeated. My record is like finishing 1-2 days before it's due. Can't study after 10:30pm the night before an exam either, because if you're not ready by that time you're screwed anyway.

Well if you can't understand the technical reasons for this, just look at it logically. Obviously, you need to consider how your mark stands compatively, and a low rank clearly indicates that in comparison to the rest of the cohort, your mark(s) are bad. One consolation...
Excel books are really for revision i.e, when you know the content, so no. I would recommend looking at some more in-depth books on your topics to develop a basic knowledge first.
